Causes to Care About exists to promote social welfare and the general good by raising awareness of, and advocating for, causes that affect the well-being of the public at large, but which may be lesser-known causes. Causes to Care About focuses on lesser-known causes affecting members of our society who are disenfranchised, unhoused, and marginalized. Causes to Care About is organized exclusively to promote social welfare, and is not organized for profit, or to support or oppose political candidates or political parties.
All parents deserve access to quality perinatal care, regardless of age, race, or income. Mortality rates among black and latinx mothers and babies continue to be higher than their white counterparts.
The Birth Equity Advocacy Project exists to add another voice to lobby, advocate, and raise awareness of these issues.
In Kansas & Texas, legislative districts will soon be redrawn, and this process has already become a matter of Democrats vs. Republicans.
The Fair Maps Fund believes redistricting must remain non-partisan to maintain the integrity of the two-party system and the infrastructure of government.
