Skylar Hagen

Skylar Hagen is an attorney with Lyda Law Firm. She represents individuals in civil litigation and focuses her practice on personal injury and employment law. Skylar also specializes in legal matters involving contracts, wills, trusts, discrimination, and medical malpractice.

Skylar believes clients are best served through a holistic approach. Every client brings a unique background and set of experiences, and understanding those perspectives allows her to develop thoughtful legal strategies and advocate more effectively.

Skylar was awarded Top 10 Personal Injury Attorneys Under Age 40 (Colorado) by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys for Distinguished Service in 2026 in recognition of her dedication and outstanding performance.

Skylar earned her B.A. in Journalism and Media Studies and Japanese Language from Rutgers University and her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law.

Prior to entering private practice, Skylar served in the United States Air Force as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate. In that role, she prosecuted courts-martials and advised military command on a variety of legal matters, including military justice, employment disputes, and government contracts.

Outside of work, she enjoys Pilates, playing bass guitar, and playing volleyball.
