David Nocera

David is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in various areas of law. He spent close to 20 years promoting the public interest by representing the Trial Staff of the Colorado Public Utilities Commission in numerous litigated matters spanning the full array of energy, water, transportation, and telecommunications issues under the purview of the PUC. David fully litigated or helped negotiate settlements on many of the large and impactful cases before the PUC during his tenure, and in doing so, developed considerable skill in presenting expert testimony, cross-examining experts, and presenting persuasive written and oral arguments on behalf of the Trial Staff’s positions. David was awarded the Attorney General’s Award for Distinguished Service in 2010 in recognition of his dedication and sustained exceptional performance.

David is eager to offer his subject matter and legal expertise to businesses, special districts, and other organizations in the utility and energy sectors. He also offers high-quality legal advice and services to small businesses, non-profit organizations, and moderate-income individuals. His practice includes estate planning, dispute resolution, contracts and contract disputes, and real estate and other transactional matters.

Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, and playing and listening to live music.
