Clyde Shavers proudly serves businesses and individuals in Washington state. Clyde earned his B.S. in Political Science from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2013 and his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2022. As a veteran, legislator, and advisor, he brings his military, policy, and legal experience to serve clients in a holistic, effective manner.

He worked as a summer associate at the Seattle-based law firm Perkins Coie in the Privacy & Data Security group and summer law clerk at the Washington Attorney General’s Office. During law school, he studied environmental law with the Natural Resources Defense Council.

Prior to law school, he served in the U.S. Navy with tours in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Clyde serves in Washington's state legislature as the 10th Legislative District’s State Representative (Pos. 1). He is Vice Chair of the House Education Committee and also serves on the Capital Budget Committee and the Innovation, Community and Economic Development, and Veterans Committee.
