Chris Nixon

Chris Nixon joined Lyda Law Firm in February 2025 and couldn’t be more excited to be part of the team. He is fully onboard with Lyda’s mission, having left a big corporate defense firm over 20 years ago to pursue his desire to represent entrepreneurs, small businesses, and moderate-income individuals, and to take part in entrepreneurial ventures when the opportunities arose. Chris comes to Lyda after 5 years as co-founder and legal counsel for a tech start-up in Austin. His broad, hands-on experience has provided him with a deep understanding of business operations and the importance of aggressive legal solutions that drive growth, protect businesses, and safeguard individuals’ wealth and rights. Further, it has helped him develop a heightened awareness of the often challenging and emotional situations individuals confront when navigating legal disputes.
