Marissa Day

Marissa Day is an attorney licensed in Texas. She provides legal services for both individuals and businesses. Her legal experience includes real estate transactions, estate planning, civil litigation and medical negligence. She has a particular focus on estate planning, civil disputes, and real estate-related matters.

Marissa was born and raised in North Texas. She graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2020 with a B.A. in Political Science. During undergrad, Marissa worked on political campaigns in Arkansas and was involved in the Political Science Honors Society. She graduated from University of Arkansas School of Law in 2023. While in law school, Marissa interned for the University of Arkansas Office of General Counsel, the National Agricultural Law Center, and Arkansas Real Estate Attorneys. In addition, Marissa was an officer in OUTLAW, which is a national student organization dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ students and their allies. She was involved in the Immigration Law Society and volunteered at Naturalization Clinics.

After being admitted to the Texas State Bar, Marissa worked at a boutique law firm in Dallas handling legal matters related to corporate litigation. Prior to joining Lyda Law Firm, she worked for a national litigation firm that specializes in nursing home abuse and neglect.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, sewing, and gardening.
