Mariam Jordan

Mariam Jordan is a skilled legal practitioner with over 10 years of experience in the areas of Family Law, Estate Planning, and Small Business Establishment and Franchising. Attorney Jordan’s command of the law comes from her professional experiences including her previous work at the Clerk’s Office in Maricopa County as well as Court Appointed counsel for counties throughout Arizona. Mariam comes to Lyda from the private sector where she worked as in-house counsel for a corporation where she ensured compliance with all state and federal regulations and collaborated with contacts both private and public.

Prior to working as in-house counsel, Mariam was the Managing Attorney of Jordan Law L.L.P. where she provided stellar legal services to businesses, families, and individuals helping them reach their goals with compassion, care, and rugged resilience.Mariam is a Cum-Laude graduate of Western Michigan University Cooley Law. She received the esteemed Book Award for achieving the highest grade in Family Law. She also was on the Dean’s List and Honor Roll. While attending law school full-time, Mariam was also a full-time parent to her then 3-year old daughter. During that time, she saw a need for parents to have a support system while navigating the rigorous curriculum and law school experience so Mariam established and was the President of the Parent Law Student Association (PLSA). The student organization still exists to this day.Born and raised in rural Pinal County, attorney Mariam Jordan spent time growing up in Stanfield, AZ, Casa Grande, AZ, and ultimately graduating high school in Eloy, AZ. Having grown up in small town USA, Mariam understands the need for access to justice, representation, and serving her community. The ultimate supporter of the underserved and underprivileged, Attorney Jordan takes great pride in providing Pro Bono legal work to the foster care population throughout Arizona.

Attorney Jordan is passionate about the Phoenix Suns, adventure, family, and travel. She has combined these passions to travel and adventure with her daughter all over the world. Her newest adventure awaits her, when her daughter goes off to college!
