Laura Arciniegas

Laura is a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She is licensed to practice law in Colorado and Texas. She is committed to the LydaGroup mission to make high-quality legal services available to startups, small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and moderate-income individuals. 

As an intellectual property attorney, Laura is registered to practice in patent matters before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) – that is, she is admitted to the patent bar. Her patent services focus on, but are not limited to, biotechnologies and medical devices, and include patent application drafting, filing, and prosecution. Her general counsel services include contract drafting and review, non-disclosure agreements, joint development agreements, clinical trial agreements, research agreements, consulting agreements, licensing agreements, as well as other matters of general law. 

Laura has a diverse background, including working as in house patent counsel for a medical device company for thirteen years. She served on the board of directors of a nonprofit association (501(c)(3) organization) serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She currently advises a nonprofit professional medical society and a nonprofit domestic water board. She also provides advice to individuals and families on disability advocacy, particularly in relation to neurodevelopmental and acquired neurological disabilities. 

When she is not working, Laura enjoys walking her dogs and watching Godzilla movies with her family.
